Nature as Our Living Classroom

Our curriculum uses the natural environment as a living classroom. Subjects take place outdoors mathematics through garden bed angles, science through farm ecosystems, literature under the trees.

Students study soil health, water cycles, animal care, and plant growth by working with these systems directly. This experiential approach grounds abstract concepts in tangible experience and instills deep respect for the land.

The environment inspires creativity through landscapes that fuel art, music, and theatre, while the challenges of weather and wilderness spark innovation, adaptability, and problem-solving.

What Makes Us Different

Students are excited to wake up in the morning and come to a community that respects their differences, listens to their unique voice, and supports their individual way of learning at their own pace.

When students feel accepted and surrounded by nature, academic excellence feels easy. They develop the ability to go deep with each element of study as the responsibility of learning is given back to them.

Students don't graduate from our school they are initiated, equipped with life skills for real-world adult living.
